Abstract
The Objectives of the research were to study knowledge and indispensable activities including methods as well as “Key success of failure factors for knowledge management to develop textile bleaching dyeing printing and finishing Industries in Thailand” and make a proposal of courses to develop “Key success factors for knowledge management to develop textile bleaching dyeing printing and finishing industries in Thailand”.
The research has been done by means of qualitative methodology and examined by questionnaires distribution composing of the hereto methods : in-depth interview and focus group in which the cross sections were divided into 3 groups, namely, academician, representatives from Textile Development Institute, Thailand Association of Textile Bleaching Dyeing Printing and Finishing and representatives from the establishments being members of Thailand Association of Textile Bleaching Dyeing Printing and Finishing with the number of 98 people actually from 130 people.
In accordance with the study, it was found that
1. The indispensable activities to develop “Textile bleaching dyeing printing and finishing industries in Thailand”, namely, activities for staff development and working development with effectiveness consisting of advance sales management, respondent green market, trustworthy research and development and system of quality management.
2. Although, the establishments of “Textile bleaching dyeing printing and finishing industries in Thailand” involved with knowledge management, each establishment possibly does not recognize “Knowledge management” in the strong sense including unsystematic knowledge management. The successful establishments will share the knowledge internally and externally the organizations.
3. There are 3 failure factors of knowledge management, namely, staff attitude, rise turn over and staff with poor knowledge management.
4. Key success factors of KM for development of textile bleaching, dyeing, printing and finishing industries, namely, staff premier, organization relations, nice communication, structure of organization environment and respondent KM culture.
5. The long-term of business transaction and high successful level of industry development ties no at all relationship with key success factors of KM.
6. The size of establishments (number of staff) ties relevantly relationship with key success factors of KM.
7. Group of key success factors of KM has influenced upon organization learning, development of products and development of process.
As from the abovementioned research, the researcher has summarized the consequence of study in the model of hearts 2DO are sponsor & engagement or hearts to develop K – organization are sponsor & engagement.
The knowledge management of textile bleaching, dyeing, printing and finishing industries should place the importance on knowledge and indispensable activities including the development of key success factors of KM especially group of key success factors influencing upon the organization learning, development of products, development of process and avoid the failure factors of knowledge management. In addition, the studying consequence of knowledge organization development has been summarized in 3 aspects, namely, organization learning, development of products and development of process appeared in the model of ME, new gene and get game respectively.
