Abstract
This study applied a constructivism and interpretive paradigm in order to explore and compile description of the attitudes of Thai rubber industry executives and other related toward the human resource management strategy of Thai rubber industry to move forward to ASEAN Economic community based on their perceptions of the Thai rubber industry in the area of Nakhon Srithammarat province and Surattani province. A qualitative research approach was applied for this study. A Case Study and Grounded Theory were used for the research design, and theoretical sampling was adopted to identify 23 participants who have experience with the human resource management of Thai rubber industry. Interview data, document reviews and observation were integrated in order to answer the research questions, and data was collected through the use of in-depth interviews. Embedded Analysis and Indirect Interpretation were also used to analyze in each case. The finding was presented through sixteen conceptual categories. The sixteen components of finding of this research are: 1) Human resource management situation of Thai rubber industry in present 2) Strength of human resource management in Thai rubber industry 3) Weakness of human resource management in Thai rubber industry 4) Opportunity of human resource management in Thai rubber industry 5) Threat of human resource management in Thai rubber industry 6) Man power planning of the organization in Thai rubber industry 7) Employee Recruitment of the organization in Thai rubber industry 8) Employee selection of the organization in Thai rubber industry 9) Human resource development of the organization in Thai rubber industry 10) Employee performance appraisal of the organization in Thai rubber industry 11) Compensation management of the organization in Thai rubber industry 12) Employee retention of the organization in Thai rubber industry 13) Management information system in human resource management of the organization in Thai rubber industry 14) General management in human resource task 15) the way of human resource management to move forward to Asean Economic Community (AEC), and 16) other issues human resource management related.
