การทำงานของผู้สูงอายุไทย กรณีศึกษาในกรุงเทพมหานคร

บทคัดย่อ
           การศึกษานี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำงานของผู้สูงอายุไทย อายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป อาศัยในกรุงเทพมหานคร ใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากโครงการ “การพัฒนาแนวทางการดำเนินงานเพื่อให้เกิดการจัดการชุดข้อมูลทางสังคมและสุขภาพประชาชน รายเขต กรุงเทพมหานคร” ดำเนินการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเดือนพฤษภาคม - ตุลาคม พ.ศ.2563 จำนวนครัวเรือนตัวอย่างที่ให้ข้อมูลกับโครงการทั้งสิ้น 7,740 ครัวเรือน ประกอบด้วย ผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 6,352 คน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเบื้องต้นใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และใช้การวิเคราะห์การถดถอยโลจิสติกส์ (Binary Logistic Regression) ผลจากการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลพบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการทำงานของผู้สูงอายุ ประกอบด้วย เพศ อายุ การศึกษา ลักษณะการอยู่อาศัยของผู้สูงอายุ เศรษฐานะของครัวเรือน การออม ความเพียงพอของรายได้ และสิทธิหลักประกันสุขภาพ การศึกษามีข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับภาครัฐคือการส่งเสริมการจ้างงานผู้สูงอายุหรือการอบรมฝึกอาชีพที่เหมาะสม โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่มีความพร้อมในการทำงาน

Work Life of Thai Older Persons: Case Study of Bangkok

Abstract

           This study examined the factors affecting the work life of Thai older persons age 60 years or older residing in Bangkok. It used secondary data from the project "Development of operational guidelines for managing social and health data sets of the population in Bangkok districts," which collected data from May to October 2020. A total of 7,740 households provided information for the project, including data on 6,352 older members of the household. The initial data analysis employed descriptive statistics and Binary Logistic Regression analysis. The analysis found that factors associated with the work of older persons include gender, age, education, living arrangements of the older persons, household economic status, savings, income sufficiency, and health insurance rights. The study suggests that the government should promote employment or appropriate vocational training for older persons, especially those who are ready and able to work.
