บทคัดย่อ
           การศึกษานี้ชวนให้พิจารณาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างชั่วโมงการทำงานและรายได้ในอุตสาหกรรมต่าง ๆ ภายในประเทศไทย โดยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิชั่วโมงการทำงาน และรายได้แยกตามอุตสาหกรรมประเภทต่าง ๆ จากองค์การแรงงานระหว่างประเทศ (ILO) ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2012 - 2022 โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาในการวิเคราะห์และนำเสนอข้อมูล ข้อสังเกตจากงานศึกษามีหลายประการ เช่น มีความแตกต่างอย่างมากในชั่วโมงการทำงานและรายได้ในอุตสาหกรรมการเกษตร และอุตสาหกรรมการผลิต ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความไม่เท่าเทียมในตลาดแรงงาน ทำให้มีความจำเป็นในการพัฒนาแรงงานในด้านต่าง ๆ เพื่อเพิ่มทักษะ พัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของ และสร้างความยั่งยืนให้แรงงานรวมถึงตลาดแรงงาน นอกจากนี้ การศึกษายังเน้นย้ำความจำเป็นในการทบทวนมีนโยบายแรงงานที่เอื้ออำนวยต่อการกระจายรายได้อย่างยุติธรรมและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจที่รวมความหลากหลายของแรงงานทุกกลุ่มไว้ด้วยกัน (Inclusive)

Abstract

           This study invites consideration of the relationship between working hours and income across various industries within Thailand, utilizing secondary data on working hours and income segmented by industry types from the International Labor Organization (ILO) from 2012 to 2022. Descriptive statistics are employed to analyze and present the data. Key observations from the study include notable disparities in working hours and income between sectors, such as agriculture and manufacturing, highlighting inequalities within the labor market. These findings underscore the need to develop labor capacities in various ways to enhance skills, improve quality of life, and promote sustainability for both workers and the labor market. Additionally, the study emphasizes the necessity of revisiting labor policies that facilitate equitable income distribution and foster inclusive economic growth that embraces diversity across all labor groups.
