บทคัดย่อ
          บทความนี้ใช้ข้อมูลการศึกษาผู้ค้าอาหารข้างทางในปี 2564 เป็นฐานเพื่อสร้างคำอธิบายปรากฎการณ์การค้าอาหารข้างทางในพื้นที่สาธารณะด้วยแนวคิด Urban assemblage หรือ การหลอมรวมเมือง การอธิบายด้วย Urban assemblage นอกจากจะแสดงให้เห็นองค์ประกอบจำนวนมากที่ประกอบกันขึ้นเป็นปรากฏการณ์การค้าอาหารแล้วยังชี้ให้เห็นปฏิบัติการของความไม่เป็นทางการที่ซ่อนอยู่ในความเป็นทางการ ทั้งในด้านปฏิสัมพันธ์ของผู้ค้ากับเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ การจัดการด้านกายภาพและความสัมพันธ์กับองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ภายในพื้นที่ ความท้าทายของ Assemblage คือ การสร้างปฏิบัติการที่เชื่อมต่อความหลากหลาย และทับซ้อนของผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียในปริมณฑลเดียวกัน ในลักษณะของความร่วมมือที่ไม่ใช่การกดทับ หรือ สร้างการเป็นเบี้ยล่าง

Abstract

          This article uses data from a research on Bangkok street food vending in 2021 to explain the phenomenon of street food vending in the public space employing urban assemblage thinking. Urban assemblage not only reveals the diverse components which constitutes the situation of street vending, but also informality in the realm of formality in the relationship between street vendors and state officials, physical arrangement and their relationships. The challenge of assemblage is the creation of linkages between diverse stakeholders which also overlap in the territories taking into consideration collaboration rather than confrontation with other groups who use public space.
